We're here to champion the little guys

The idea for the FSH Business Awards came from a simple observation: too many awards celebrate the big and corporate, while the true heart of our economy, our independent businesses, often go unnoticed.

We started this programme with a clear mission: to give family, small and home-grown businesses a platform to be seen, celebrated and encouraged. We believe that these businesses are the backbone of our communities and they deserve our support.

We are independent ourselves. We don't take fees from entrants and we're not funded by big corporations. Our only interest is in fairness and genuine recognition.

Every year, we open nominations, review the entries with care and announce the winners with pride. We hope our awards give these businesses the boost they need to keep doing what they do best, serving their customers and their communities.
